About Trusted Appliance Repair

Licensed, insured appliance repair and installation for Brampton and Caledon homes.

Who we are

We repair and install household appliances across Brampton and Caledon. Dishwashers, washers, dryers, refrigerators, freezers, ovens, stoves, and microwaves, in the homes they are already sitting in. The work is done by licensed and insured technicians who fix these machines every day, not by a general handyman with a socket set.

Most calls come down to one failed part. A drain pump seized with debris, a door latch that no longer closes the circuit, a heating element scaled shut by hard water. We find the part that failed, tell you what it costs, and replace it. If a machine is not worth the repair, we say that too.

You can see the symptoms we handle most on the dishwasher repair and refrigerator repair pages, or start from the full list of repairs.

How we work

Four things every homeowner should be able to take for granted, and rarely can.

Licensed and insured
We are licensed and carry liability insurance. Gas appliance work is handled by a gas-certified technician.
A quote before the tools come out
You hear the cause and the price before any repair starts. If you decide not to go ahead, you owe nothing for the repair.
90-day warranty
Parts and labour we supply are covered for 90 days. If the same fault comes back in that window, we come back too.
Local, and it matters here
Brampton and Caledon water is hard, and rural Caledon runs on wells. We already know what scale and well minerals do to valves and heating elements here.

How a repair call works

1
You tell us the symptom
Water in the bottom of the dishwasher, a fridge that is warm, a dryer that turns but will not heat. The symptom points us to the likely part before we drive out.
2
We book the visit
We confirm a time that works for your home, and we bring the parts the symptom points to. Same-day is often available.
3
Diagnosis, then a price
We find the actual failed part and quote the repair before starting. Nothing gets replaced on a guess.
4
Repair, tested, warranted
Most repairs finish in the same visit. We run the appliance before we leave, and the work carries a 90-day warranty.

When repair is the wrong answer

Not every appliance is worth fixing, and we will say so. If the part costs more than the machine is worth, or the unit is old enough that the next failure is already lining up, you will hear that instead of a quote. Telling you to replace a fifteen-year-old dryer costs us the job and keeps your trust, which is the better trade.

When a replacement is the right call, we can install the new unit and take the old one out of your way. That is covered on our appliance installation page.

Frequently asked questions

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We are licensed and carry liability insurance, and gas appliance work is handled by a gas-certified technician. Ask on the call and we will confirm the details.

Who do I call if something goes wrong after the repair?

Call us on the same number. The 90-day warranty on parts and labour we supply is handled by us, so you are not chasing a third party to make it good.

Do you charge for the diagnosis?

There is a service call fee to come out and diagnose the fault, and we quote it to you before we book. If you approve the repair, that fee goes toward the work.

Which brands can you work on?

Bosch, Samsung, Whirlpool, LG, Frigidaire, KitchenAid, GE, Maytag, and Kenmore are the ones we see most. Have the brand and model ready when you call and we will confirm before booking.

Do you cover rural Caledon, or just the towns?

Both. We cover Bolton, Caledon East, Alton, Palgrave, Cheltenham, Inglewood, and properties out on the concession roads, including homes on private wells.

Will you tell me if my appliance is not worth repairing?

Yes. If the part and labour approach the cost of a new unit, or the machine is near the end of its life, you will hear that plainly so you can decide.
